Company

Our young start-up, Digital Lab Ventures GmbH, was founded in 2016 in Düsseldorf. We develop and distribute cloud-based SaaS applications for management tasks in the fields of sports and education. Our focus is the optimization of processes of organization and communication. Digital Lab Ventures was created by Fabian Becker and Roy P?schel, two true cross-thinkers. The two combine economic theory with know-how in the administration of teaching and sports events. As a team with programmers and designers, we develop practical solutions for complex problems, which are easy for any user. We live the principle of simplicity and work in agile, flexible and lean processes. Our ideas are supported by a private investor and consultant.

Fabian Becker, CEO

Optimized course management means a profit on many levels: more time, more satisfaction - and if you sell the savedtime resources, even more profit.

Fabian Becker
More info

Fabian Becker To call Fabian a “number cruncher“ wouldn\'t be enough. If he is, he is a “number cruncher with good ideas and the ability to implement them“. Fabian has been playing tennis since his earliest childhood and has already taught as a coach. In addition, he is, like his business partner Roy, a graduate economist and gained practical experience in the financial sector. During his studies, Fabian studied in Ireland and the USA, and started working as a research assistant in macroeconomics. In 2012, together with Roy, he founded the Saitenfarm UG, with which they have built up a supra-regional tennis tournament series, which is characterized by its digital orientation. This is the way the two have consistently pursued and developed applications for management tasks in sports and education since 2016 with Digital Lab Ventures. Fabian is responsible for operational business, marketing, sales and human resources. In addition to a company, they still share the passion for fast rallies.

Roy Pöschel
More info

Roy Pöschel Roy's story does not begin just like the nerd\'s start-up cliché working in his garage: As a professional tennis player manque, he devoted himself to studying his second passion, the numbers: after completing a degree in economics, he went into finance - initially as an analyst, then as a risk controller. Subsequently, Roy worked as Head of Controlling at M & A advisory. He shares his love of sports and business with Fabian, with whom he founded his first company together in 2012. The resulting tennis tournament series is meanwhile the largest in North Rhine-Westphalia - and particularly popular because of its digital-oriented organization and communication. This experience is part of Roy & Fabian\'s latest project: With Digital Lab Ventures, the two have been developing applications for management tasks in sports and education since 2016. Roy leads the areas of finance, IT, purchasing and business organization. In order to clear his mind in between, he still likes to hit a few balls on the tennis court - often with Fabian.

Muhammad Adeel
More info

After completing his bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Adeel worked as a programmer for an international IT company in Pakistan, where he gained experience in web development with PHP frameworks and app development. He initially moved to a US-based apps production studio as a senior PHP developer before coming to Germany for his master\'s degree. Since then, he combines studying with the profession as a programmer. Except for his detour to a Dutch digital agency, Adeel has been working as a software developer for Fabian and Roy since 2016: at first at Saitenfarm UG and meanwhile at Digital Lab Ventures. For the production of source code Adeel requires little more than large amounts of polyunsaturated animal fats, caffeine and nicotine.
